O2 makes changes and removes one of its most complete fiber and mobile rates

It is not one of the rates that has been in the O2 catalog the longest, but it is a fairly complete combination of fiber and mobile. And not only this, but the jump between convergent rates of Telefónica’s second brand is now greater than ever. More than anything, because this plan was between the rates of 38 and 50 euros in its current catalog.

O2 says goodbye to one of the most complete combos in its catalogue, at least for now. Overnight, the operator has removed this convergent plan from its website. So, in this way, there are now fewer alternatives available for new customers. However, as has happened on other occasions, this rate will continue to be available for those users who currently have it contracted.

Goodbye to the O2 rate for 44 euros

From now on, new customers and existing customers have fewer fiber and mobile options to choose from when they want to contract a combination or change rates. And all because O2 has removed the 44 euro rate from its website. One of the most complete different convergent plans that it had until now in its fiber and mobile catalog.

What do O2 users lose? It is a convergent plan that had a 1 Gbps connection for fiber optics and up to 250 GB of mobile data at maximum 5G+ speed. And not only must this particular detail be taken into account, but it was one of the combinations that was located between O2’s rates of 38 and 50 euros. So it was an intermediate point between the most expensive plan and a cheaper one.

Furthermore, it was in November of last year when Telefónica’s second operator decided to improve each and every one of its fiber and mobile rates. So this specific plan increased from 100 GB to 250 GB for the mobile. It even remained at the same price of 44 euros. However, from now on, O2 customers go from 5 convergent plans to 4 rates.

What convergent rates can be contracted now?

Therefore, it must be taken into account that, from now on, new customers and existing users of this operator have the following fiber and mobile combinations available:

  • Rate with fiber at 300 Mbps and mobile with 30 GB at 5G+ for 30 euros per month.
  • Rate with fiber at 600 Mbps and mobile with 50 GB at 5G+ for 35 euros per month.
  • Rate with fiber at 1 Gbps and mobile with 120 GB at 5G+ for 38 euros per month.
  • Rate with 1 Gbps fiber and mobile with 350 GB at 5G+ and TV for €50. Includes a subscription to Movistar Plus+.

A significant change for the plans available when enjoying fiber and mobile as a customer of this operator. In any case, it is a movement that may later be accompanied by another series of changes in its current catalog. For now, if you are customers of this telephone company, you will have to settle for the four combined plans that O2 has.
