The months of August and September usually bring many surprises. As is the case with the cheap fibre rates from Vodafone, Movistar, Orangeā€¦ and many other operators. Another of the latest to join this list is Avatel. The teleco surprises with two new features: an increase in speed in its fibre rates and an increase in mobile gigabytes.

Many operators have been encouraged by the well-known “back to school” period. Hence, it is possible to contract fibre at a lower price than ever from a good part of the telephone companies. In the case of the operator Avatel, it seems that its intention is to go one step further, since it has renewed both its fibre rates and its mobile plans. So it is time to find out more about exactly what the changes are in its current catalogue.

From 600 Mbps to 1 Gbps and more gigabytes

Among the various new features that this operator is presenting for September, without a doubt, the most surprising is that it has increased the speed of all its rates with fiber. And right now, the only speed that can be contracted with this operator, at least, is 1 Gbps. In addition, it is also the only alternative in terms of connection speed. Its rates go from having 600 Mbps to 1 Gbps. So it is quite a significant increase.

Another point that also draws attention is that you can sign up for 1,000 Mbps for less than 20 euros per month during the first year. But that’s not all, since from the second year of contracting, the price only goes up to 24.99 euros per month: fiber with 1,000 Mbps + Amazon Prime for 1 year free for 19.99 euros per month. And with a one-year permanence.

Avatel rate offer

But that’s not all, mobile plans are also getting better with the latest news from the operator Avatel. For this reason, you should pay attention to the rest of the rates with special offers and changes that you can now find in the catalogue of this teleco:

  • Pop: 1 Gbps fibre + the CLICtv television platform with more than 150 national, international and local channels; for 29.99 euros per month.
  • Rock: with 1,000 Mbps fiber optics + a 50 GB mobile line + CLICtv for 12 months for 29.99 euros per month (from the second year it goes up to 34.99 euros per month).
  • Rock & Roll: has fiber with 1 Gbps + two mobile lines with 150 GB shared + all CLICtv for 36.99 euros per month for the first year (afterwards it goes to 39.99 euros per month).
  • Heavy: fiber with 1,000 Mbps + three mobile lines with 300 GB to share + landline with 1,000 minutes + CLICtv for 44.99 euros per month for the first year (then it costs 49.99 euros per month).

All of these plans include Amazon Prime free of charge during the first year of contracting. However, it should be noted that all of these plans have a 12-month commitment to remain with the operator. On the other hand, you can add a landline with 1,000 minutes for landlines and mobiles for only 5 euros more per month.
