For the month of June, Movistar Plus+ already has the following channels ready that will be temporarily available to its customers. With the disappearance of two exclusive dials from the operator’s TV, on this occasion we are betting on the arrival of two temporary channels so that customers continue enjoying new content and thus make up for the loss of Suspense and Music on M+.
It is not usual, but given Movistar’s latest decision to eliminate up to two of the most recent channels from its platform, it is logical that the operator’s TV wants to add two temporary channels for the month of June. In this way, television users will have access to new movies, series… All types of content that will land through these two ephemeral dials.
A canal through the Normandy landings
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings, one of the great historical moments of the Second World War, Movistar Plus+ takes the opportunity to launch this channel during the month of June. Although, temporarily, since by the end of next month he will leave his dial for another temporary channel.
In any case, Normandy Landing on M+ will begin to be available from June 6 and will end its broadcasts on June 25. Therefore, for almost a month the operator’s television customers will be able to enjoy a special selection of films already related to this military operation that marked a before and after against the troops of Hitler’s Nazi army. Among the related titles are ‘Saving Private Ryan’, ‘Inglourious Basterds’ or ‘The Pianist’, among many other contents.
And the best of all is that it will not be the only temporary channel that will land during the next month on the Movistar TV platform. A decision that makes sense after the broadcast of two fixed channels from its channel lineup has ceased: Suspense on M+ and Música on M+.
Pride by M+ for June
The other temporary channel for the blue operator’s television is Orgullo on M+. Although, it must be taken into account that it is not the first time, and it will not be the last, that Movistar Plus+ adds this ephemeral channel during the month of June. And all for the celebration of LGTBIQ+ pride month. A dial dedicated to diversity and also inclusion.
Therefore, starting June 10, the operator’s television customers will now have this new ephemeral dial available on their current grid. A channel that will be dedicated to films, series, documentaries… that explore the LGTBIQ+ collective. Among the special content that can be seen on this time dial are: ‘20,000 species of bees’, winner of the Goya awards, ‘Pride’, ‘Passages’, ‘More or less’, ‘Merlí Sapere Aude’ and ‘Zero, the magazine that brought a country out of the closet’. In this case, it will be available on dial 15 of the television platform, and will cease broadcasting on July 14. So for just over a month it will be available for Movistar Plus+ users.
