This is how Vodafone’s fiber rates look after ending its summer promotion

The red operator has modified the conditions of its fiber-only rates, also called standalone rates, withdrawing previous promotional campaigns launched on August 22 that offered permanent discounts.

After the tariff update, their plans increase in price, both those intended for individual clients and business plans, with the exception of plans for second homes, which become cheaper.

From this second week of October, the new fees for individuals remain as follows:

  • Fiber 300Mbps: 20 euros per month is 27 euros per month.
  • 600Mbps Fiber: from 25 euros per month it goes to 30 euros per month.
  • Fiber 1 Gbps: 30 euros a month is 35 euros per month, now including the essential TV service without added cost.
  • For second homes, the price drops: from 28.80 euros per month it goes to 20.80 euros per month.

As for rates for companies, prices also rise and, with VAT included, they are exactly the same as those for individuals.

If an VAT omission is applied, in that case they are as follows:

  • Fiber 300Mbps: 16.58 euros per month is passed to 22.31 euros per month.
  • Fiber 600Mbps: 20.66 euros per month is passed to 24.79 euros per month.
  • 1 Gbps Fiber: from 24.79 euros per month it goes to 28.93 euros per month, now including the essential TV service at no added cost.

After the entry into force of this new tariff, new customers who switch to Vodafone in the coming months will be more likely than those who have done so in the months of August and September.

Vodafone router

No permanence

Vodafone does keep almost all conditions beyond the price that these rates have been fulfilling.

The 300 Mbps fiber has no permanence, although the user will pay 50 euros for the installation of the Vodafone router if they do not have one. For the 600 Mbps and 1 Gbps rates, a 1-year permanence is established in exchange for a free installation.

The three options include a landline with unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles, and 3 months of free Secure Net cybersecurity service, at a price of 1 euro per month per line thereafter. A Wi-Fi router is included in transfer mode, which the customer will have to return in case of loss of service within a maximum period of 30 days, suffering a penalty of 80 euros if they do not do so.
