Just a week ago, Vodafone surprised everyone by launching a new commercial offer. Not only were there changes to its mobile-only plans, but the red operator’s fibre + mobile rates were also modified. Now, as the operator explained, 1 Gbps fibre is activated in its new proposal. And the truth is that it is not the only novelty.
As of today, 1 Gbps fibre is now available in the new rates marketed by Vodafone Spain. It is being launched a few days after announcing the new features in its catalogue, since during the first week, only the 600 Mbps option was available.
In addition to this new feature, the red operator continues to promote the other connection solutions it offers its customers. In this case, these are the 5G Home and Second Residence options.
News in fiber and 5G Home
Starting today, it is already available when hiring one of Vodafone’s new rates the 1 Gbps connection to have more fiber speed at home. It can be contracted from the new configurator on the red operator’s website or through the other sales channels available from the operator. It should be noted that the price goes up 10 euros more per month compared to the fiber + mobile rates with 600 Mbps.
In addition to this new feature, Vodafone is announcing the improvement in indoor 5G mobile coverage for the 5G Home service. In this way, the operator is able to provide access to up to 18.5 million people, which is up to 10 million more than in the previous year. “This innovative service provides ultra-fast broadband services through the 5G network to homes and businesses, ensuring 5G mobility both in the main residence and at the destination where the customer takes the product.”
With Vodafone’s new fiber + mobile rates, customers also have the opportunity to have an Internet connection through the portable 5G WiFi 6 router, with prices ranging from 35 euros per month:
- 25 GB, unlimited calls and connectivity with 5G router included for 35 euros per month.
- 50 GB, unlimited calls and connectivity with 5G router included for 40 euros per month.
- 100 GB, unlimited calls and connectivity with 5G router included for 45 euros per month.
And these same plans to use the Vodafone 5G WiFi router can be obtained with 2 mobile lines: 25 GB for 40 euros, 50 GB for 45 euros and 100 GB for 50 euros per month. In the same way, Hogar 5G customers have the option of contracting Vodafone TV packs and the rest of the services that the operator offers as an extra.
Vodafone strengthens Internet for second homes
Among the changes that have been taking place at Vodafone in recent weeks, the red operator is also strengthening the connection alternatives for second homes in its catalogue, whether with fibre or mobile coverage. And all with the idea of offering greater flexibility to its customers this summer.
Thanks to this decision by Vodafone, users can choose between 300 Mbps fibre or unlimited data packages with a self-installable router for 2, 7 or 31 days. And the prices are as follows:
- Vodafone Second Home Fibre with 300 Mbps for 20.80 euros per month. It has a 20% discount compared to the operator’s cheapest fibre-only tariff.
- Flexible Second Home Internet, with mobile connection:

- Maximum speed data bonus for 2 days for €5.
- Maximum speed data bonus for 7 days for €15.
- Maximum speed data bonus for 31 days for €35.
It should be noted that the ‘Flexible Second Home Internet’ service comes with a self-installable router. Therefore, it has a SIM and an unlimited data bonus at maximum speed that can be contracted by the day. These plans are designed for customers who do not want to pay a fixed rate per month.
