Sufficient autonomy for normal driving.

There are two concerns that limit the definitive bet on the electric car: one is the distance that can be covered with a recharge of the battery and the other the infrastructure to “refuel” those batteries. The second is still a problem, but the first not so much. Today we show you seven electric cars that really exceed 350 kilometers of autonomy.

Apart from these two aspects, we must not forget others such as the price, clearly higher than equivalent alternatives with a combustion engine, or the long recharging times.

It is true that Spain is several steps behind when it comes to the installation of battery recharging points throughout the country. This, in theory, should be corrected within a few years, since the Government plans to invest a significant amount of money in this regard. But we must stick to the current situation.

However, the development of the electric car by most manufacturers has reached a significant cruising speed, producing vehicles that offer greater and greater autonomy.

Next, we are going to show you seven electric cars that really exceed 350 kilometers of autonomy, a distance that is more than enough for daily use in the big city and beyond.

Volkswagen ID.3

The equivalent to the Volkswagen Golf in an electric key is designed to be the benchmark in its category, as is the case with its combustion brother. It is available with different power levels, from 110 to 150 kW (150 to 204 hp), and three types of battery: 45, 58 and 77 kWh, which homologate 330, 420 and 550 kilometers, respectively, under the WLTP cycle.

We already know that, in real conditions, autonomy is always less than declared. But the version of the ID.3 with the largest battery, the 77 kWh one, does allow you to travel more than 350 kilometers in truth. However, currently the brand only markets the model with the 58 kWh battery in Spain, waiting to be able to expand the range.

Volkswagen ID.4

This is the second member of the Volkswagen ID family, in this case a mid-size SUV, available starting at a price of around 50,000 euros.

The range of engines for the ID.4 is also very wide, with different levels of power and batteries. But it is the version equipped with the 77 kWh battery that, in the best of cases, is capable of approving 522 kilometers of autonomy. Although in real conditions it does not reach that figure, it does exceed 350 kilometers.

Cupra Born

The Cupra Born is the first electric car of the Spanish brand and is offered with a 204 hp engine and another with 231 hp, as well as two battery levels, 58 and 77 kWh.

It is the most powerful version, together with the battery with the highest capacity, which gives a greater autonomy, 546 kilometers, which far exceeds 350 kilometers in real life.

The versions with a 58 kWh battery are around 300 kilometers in real conditions, which is not bad at all.

Kia EV6

The Kia EV6 is one of the most important products of the Korean brand, not only at the moment, but also in its history. It is the car with which a new era based on fully electric driving begins.

The EV6 can be chosen with two types of batteries, the basic 58 kWh, with rear-wheel drive and 170 hp, and the large 77.4 kWh, with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and powers ranging between 228 and 585 hp.

Except for the GT variant, with 585 hp, a 77.4 kWh battery and all-wheel drive, which homologates 406 kilometers of autonomy, the others exceed 350 kilometers in real life.

Polestar 2

The second model of Polestar, the brand that belongs to Volvo and Geely, can be chosen in several different configurations: with one motor and normal range (with 69 kWh battery) or with one or two motors and extended range (with 78 kWh battery). kWh). Powers range between 224 and 476 hp.

The extended autonomy versions show interesting figures, especially that of a single engine, with 231 CV and an approved autonomy of 542 kilometers.

Skoda Enyaq iV

This is the first electric car developed by the Czech brand and it shares many elements with the aforementioned Volkswagen ID.4, such as the MEB platform on which it is built and the powertrain.

The power range is currently divided into three levels: 179 hp and a 58 kWh battery, 204 hp and a 77 kWh battery and 265 hp and the same 77 kWh battery. It is the intermediate version, with 204 hp and the largest battery, which gives an approved autonomy of 520 kilometers.

nissan ariya

We finish this list of electric cars that really exceed 350 kilometers with the Nissan Ariya.

There is a basic version with a battery of 63 kWh of useful capacity and two with a battery of 87 kWh of useful capacity. The latter is available with two power levels, 242 and 306 hp, with 520 and 493 official kilometers of autonomy, so they exceed 350 kilometers in real driving conditions.
