The Porsche 911 T 2023 is here, lighter for a purist with more standard equipment. The German brand wants to continue paying tribute to the sportiness and purity of driving, and with the “Touring” version it achieves it based on less weight and less insulation. The Porsche 911T is available for orders and will arrive at Spanish dealerships in February. Of course, its price exceeds 140,000 euros.
The ‘T’ in the Porsche 911 Carrera T designation stands for Touring, as we’ve mentioned. Its history dates back to the homologation of the 911 T, in 1968, a first model in Porsche that was offered until 1973 and that in 2017 the brand revived. It was in 911 and it would arrive as the purist variant of the Carrera range. Since then, the concept of the simplified configuration has been maintained, seeing it in other models such as the 718 Cayman T, the 718 Boxster T and the Macan T.
At the power level, this Carrera T has the biturbo of 385 CV and 450 Nm of torque, the engine used by the Carrera, but with less total weight. They are no less than 35 kg less than the Carrera, a reduction with which it manages to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 291 km/h. To make it more efficient than the Carrera, it incorporates the Sport Chrono package and the PASM sports suspension.
The 2023 Porsche 911 T mounts Carrera S wheels in Titanium gray, 20 inches at the front and 21 at the rear, with 245/35 and 305/30 tires. Like the 911 GT3, it has a reduced weight, although the GT3 and the new Porsche GT3 RS are track-oriented. Nor could it be compared to the Porsche 911 GTS, but it is one of the most purist versions of the Porsche 992.
