The Dacia Jogger Hybrid 140 already accepts reservations and this is its price in Spain

Since its launch in March 2022, the Dacia minivan with up to 7 seats has accumulated 51,000 registrations worldwide and is already the second best-selling vehicle in the C segment, excluding SUVs. Now the hybrid variant arrives in Spain, the Dacia Jogger Hybrid, at a very competitive price.

With this new hybrid engine, the Dacia Jogger is available in two versions with an ECO label, along with the LPG 100 ECO-G, an important detail in view of the new (and future) traffic restrictions in the LEZ.

The Jogger Hybrid 140, a versatile family vehicle, available in 5 and 7-seater versions, is the first hybrid in the Dacia range and one of the most interesting options in the hybrid car segment. It is already available to order, with a starting price of 24,450 euros, although the first deliveries will not take place until May.

The Dacia Jogger Hybrid launches the new hybrid system that we have seen in other Renault Group products, with a total power of 140 CV.

It consists of a 1.6-liter 90 hp four-cylinder gasoline engine, two electric motors (one 50 hp and the other as a starter and generator) and an automatic gearbox, with four relations dedicated to the thermal block and two to electric.

This combined technology is made possible by the absence of a clutch. As Lionel Jaillet, director of Dacia Product Performance, explains, “this clutchless hybridization offers pure electric starters and reduces fuel consumption.”

The most affordable hybrid family car on the market

Jaillet also wanted to highlight that the Jogger Hybrid “is the most accessible hybrid family vehicle on the market.” With a price that starts at 24,450 euros, there is no cheaper family car with up to 7 seats. The 7-seater version starts at 25,350 euros, an extra price of 900 euros, compared to the 5-seater.

For its launch, it will have the color Slate Gray in addition to the five existing colors. The car is intended for families and customers who are looking for a spacious and versatile vehicle, suitable for the city and outdoor activities.

But it is also aimed at those seeking the benefits of electric driving: silence, vibration-free, consistent start-up in 100% electric mode and immediately available torque for powerful acceleration.
