Just a few days ago we already warned you that all Movistar Plus+ customers would have a new exclusive channel from one of the best film directors, or at least that’s how the vast majority of users who have seen his movies think. Well, from today you can see these 23 movies on his Pop Up channel.

This Pop Up channel directly replaces the Vacaciones por M+ channel, which began broadcasting almost 100 movies on Movistar Plus+ from December 22 to January 8. However, this new option will not be available forever, since, like any temporary channel of the operator, there is a deadline for you to enjoy all its content.

‘Tarantino Universe’ arrives

Movistar’s new Pop Up channel is called ‘Universo Tarantino por M+’. In addition, it is available to all customers with the operator’s television from today, Thursday, January 19, until Sunday, February 12. So we can enjoy this new channel for almost a month.

This new option that lands today on Movistar television is a channel based on the book ‘Meditations for Cinema’. That is, the Quentin Tarantino book that will be available on January 26 in bookstores. In addition, it is important to highlight that this channel is possible thanks to the collaboration with Reservoir Books, Penguin Random House label. However, we will also be able to enjoy a good catalog of films on the on-demand service of the telephone company’s platform.

In order to access this Pop Up channel we will have to go to dial 13 and we can also access its content in the video on demand option of the Movistar Plus+ platform. Within this new option that premieres on the operator’s TV we will be able to see each of the audiovisual titles that are included in Tarantino’s book, which have influenced the world of cinema.

The 23 films that will be broadcast

Therefore, taking into account the titles that are included in the film director’s book, both from his own filmography, as well as those films in which he has participated as a director, these are the 23 films that we can see in ‘Universo Tarantino por M+’: ‘Bullitt’ (1968); ‘Defense’ (1972); ‘The Getaway (The escape)’ (1972); ‘A rebel lady’ (1974); ‘Sisters’ (1973); ‘Taxi Driver’ (1976); ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ (1978); ‘Escape from Alcatraz’ (1979) and ‘House of Horrors’ (1981). In this case, these films have their own chapter in the book.
