The future electric Jimny will respect the classic design of the model, but will add some more modern elements, such as an illuminated grille or a new LED light signature in the headlights.

Likewise, it is also expected to maintain the ladder frame architecture. In addition to the electric version, Suzuki is also planning a light hybrid variant.

In addition to the electric Suzuki Jimny, other models appear in the image that we show you, specifically, an SUV that could be the Suzuki Fronx. This model was presented earlier this month in India, but it seems that an electric version could arrive in Europe.

With these three models, plus the Jimny and Fronx, Suzuki will put five electric cars on the European market. The first is scheduled to arrive in 2024, while the eVX will be ready by 2025.

The Japanese firm wants 80% of its European range to be electric by 2030 and the remaining 20% to be hybrid. That is, it would have a fully electrified product line.
