Peugeot has opened the order book for the new 2008, once the expected restyling has been applied to the second generation of the French compact SUV.
It is now possible to place orders for the renewed French SUV, a true best seller that will be manufactured in Spain, at the Stellantis plant in Vigo. We refer to the new Peugeot 2008 2023 and its 100% electric variant.
Peugeot has opened the order book for the new 2008, once the expected restyling has been applied to the second generation of the French compact SUV. It lands in Spanish dealers with an improved offer in equipment and finishes, as well as a new, more powerful electric version with more capacity.

Outside, the metallic colors Selenium Gray and Okenite White are new. It also debuts a new front, with a new light signature in the form of three claws and Full LED headlights with automatic switching of the high beams. At the rear, the lights take the form of three elegant overlapping horizontal double stripes.
The interior stands out for its high level of comfort and the quality of the finishes. Its front seats have a dynamic design and can have a heating system and, in the case of the driver, a massage function.
The passenger compartment allows all kinds of sensations to be generated thanks to its eight-color LED interior lighting system, available in the GT version, which creates a ring of light on the dashboard and door panels. To make it easier to get behind the wheel, it has, depending on the finish, the Hands-Free Access and Start function.
The i-Cockpit system evolves with a 10-inch screen integrated into the dashboard, which is complemented by virtual i-toggles. An innovative 10-inch 3D ‘Quartz’ digital instrument panel with a holographic effect is displayed before the driver.
More driving aids
The driving assistance functions reinforce the safety and performance of the new Peugeot 2008. Depending on the finish, it incorporates a 180-degree HD rear view camera associated with front and rear parking sensors.
It also has the Safety Pack, which includes advances such as day and night automatic emergency braking with recognition of pedestrians and cyclists. The list of technologies is endless.
The 2008 can have adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function and adjustable distance between vehicles, active warning of involuntary change of lane with correction to avoid lane departure, fatigue detection alert and blind spot control.
The system for recognizing and displaying traffic signs in the digital instrument panels reinforces its capabilities: stop, one-way, no overtaking and no overtaking are added to the usual signs related to speed.
It also has the Advanced Grip Control traction system, which allows you to choose between three driving modes: sand, mud and snow and is combined with winter tires.
Mechanics and price
Under the hood, the Peugeot 2008 2023 incorporates the new 156 hp electric motor that offers a WLTP range of 406 kilometers. In addition, its range of thermal engines allows you to choose between the PureTech 100 gasoline, with a six-speed manual transmission and the PureTech 130 with an EAT8 automatic transmission, as well as the BlueHDi 130 EAT8 diesel. At the beginning of 2024, the offer will be completed with a 136 CV micro-hybrid.
The new 2008 can already be ordered and its price starts at 26,890 euros, while the fully electric version does so at 41,090 euros.
