News that has been very well received by its community, but which has also raised some questions: how can we benefit from it if we are already O2 customers and, in addition, we also have a subscription to the blue operator’s platform?

Just a few days ago, its most complete rate, which includes 1GB of fiber and 200 GB of mobile, went a step further. The blue operator announced that added Movistar Plus+ for free in the pack.

Movistar Plus+ subscription with discount

For several months now, O2 customers have been able to sign up for the Movistar Plus+ OTT service, benefiting from a two-euro discount on the platform’s RRP. This way, instead of paying the 14 euros correspondingcould enjoy a small discount that allowed them to enjoy all the content on the platform for a price of €12. However, this discount could not be used with the €9.99 rate that was recently introduced.

If this is your case, and you have contracted the €50 rate, O2 confirms that you do not have to do anything. The change will be applied automatically and you will no longer have to pay the corresponding fee. Movistar Plus+ fee once your current billing period ends. That is, if your last renewal was on August 10, the change will be applied on September 10 and the OTT platform will be integrated into your bill without you having to do anything.

No discount

But what about users who They didn’t have any discount enabled? In this case, once we have activated the €50 rate, we must go to the Movistar Plus+ customer area and click on the “My subscription” button, which is located on the left side of the menu. In it, we will have to look for the “Add code” option and we must enter the same code that will be provided through the O2 app.

From the next renewal, As in the previous case, everything will be updated so that we do not have any problems and everything will be included in our rate. Therefore, we will not have to pay any extra fees.

Finally, in the event that we do not have a Movistar Plus+ subscription and We have never had an account in the app, We have to access this link and create our account with the code that we will have in the O2 application once we have logged in with our credentials. If we choose this route, we will not have to give any of our card details, since everything will be integrated into our mobile bill from the first moment we sign up. Once the code is entered, the account will be activated and we will be able to access all the content on the blue operator’s platform.
