Despite the stability offered by the latest versions of Microsoft’s operating system, including Windows 11, the software is not free of problems. Hence, Microsoft strives to try to solve all this in the best possible way.

Here we are referring to an operating system valid for all types of users, both new and more experienced. It may happen that Windows 11 starts to give us problems and we don’t even know where to start. Perhaps a solution that we have been talking about for a long time is to notify a friend or family member with more experience.

But we can also benefit from the service that Microsoft itself offers us to try to solve the possible problems and failures of Windows 11. We tell you all this because at this moment the software giant is working on a new function for Windows and solve these potential failures. .

Specifically, we are referring to what they have called Quick Machine Recover, something that will allow PC administrators to use Windows Update corrections to remotely repair damaged systems. Perhaps one of the greatest attractions that this new help functionality presents to us is that it will even be valid on those computers that cannot even start.

This new feature is part of a new Microsoft initiative for Windows launched in response to the widespread blackout that occurred in July of this year. If you remember, this massive error was caused by a faulty CrowdStrike Falcon update. It caused hundreds of thousands of Windows computers to fail to boot, affecting airlines, hospitals and emergency services around the world.

This is how Microsoft’s help for Windows 11 errors improves

In fact, during that disaster that happened last summer, those affected stated that their Windows computers were blocked. All in an endless boot loop. Likewise, others showed a blue screen of death or BSOD after installing the latest CrowdStrike Falcon update.

Thus, to ensure that its customers are prepared in case a similar incident occurs, Microsoft has developed the aforementioned Quick Machine Recovery feature. One of the main advantages that this new feature offers us is that it does not require manual access to the PC to solve Windows 11 startup problems.

The feature allows administrators to run specific fixes from the Windows Update feature, even when computers fail to boot. Obviously, all this without the need to physically access the PC itself. As we are told by the same company, this remote recovery will solve the problems much faster than has been possible to date in the operating system.

Microsoft states that it will initially launch the new Quick Machine Recovery function for users of its Windows 11 Insider program at the beginning of next year 2025. Thus, everything suggests that shortly after this new function will reach the final version of the operating system available for all users. Without a doubt this will be a great advance when it comes to solving errors in Windows 11 remotely.
