All the electric cars that Porsche sells in 2023

Porsche’s commitment to the electric car is clear. In addition to its current vehicle offering, which includes some high-performance plug-in hybrid cars in addition to electric, the Stuttgart firm hopes to introduce new electrified models in the coming years. But, for the moment, these are all the electric cars that Porsche is selling in 2023.

Before the electric Cayman and Boxster arrive, and also the electric Macan, which will presumably be the first to land (there will also be an electric version of the Cayenne), the German brand offers the same electric vehicle that is available, in turn, in three different body versions to make up its range of electric Porsches.

Porsche Taycan

The Porsche Taycan was the first 100% electric model built by the German firm. It is a sports car with a sedan body designed to offer a perfect balance between performance and efficiency. Under this premise, the Taycan hit the market in 2019 and has served for another manufacturer within the umbrella of the Volkswagen Group to launch a similar product, the Audi e-tron GT.

The Taycan has an interior for four passengers and a boot with just over 400 liters of volumetric capacity (as well as a second boot in the front with 85 liters). It is available in five different versions with power levels ranging from 408 hp to 761 hp in the Turbo S variant.

In terms of total autonomy, the version with the greatest range per charge is the 571 hp Taycan 4S with the 83.7 net kWh battery, which approves just over 510 kilometers in the WLTP cycle. Meanwhile, the range access Taycan has a 71 kWh battery with which it certifies a little less than 450 kilometers of autonomy, being the version with the lowest range of kilometers between charges.

Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo

The second version within the Taycan range, which can be considered the second electric Porsche model, is the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo. This variant has an approach more similar to that of an SUV, although it is still a sedan with a two-volume body with plastic protections on the bumpers, sills and wheel arches.

The Taycan Cross Turismo is available in four different versions with power levels between 476 CV and 761 CV of the Turbo S version. Regarding the approved autonomy of this version, it ranges between 460 kilometers for the Turbo S and 490 kilometers of the Taycan 4 and Taycan 4S Cross Turismo.

Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo

The last to arrive and, therefore, the newest, is the Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo. In this case, we are talking about the third body of the Taycan, which is located in the range as a hybrid halfway between the saloon version and the more adventurous model, the Cross Turismo. It can be considered as a family body variant of the Taycan.

In exchange for this configuration, the Taycan Sport Turismo continues to offer an interior for four passengers, but its trunk volumetric capacity increases to 450 liters and, by folding down the rear seats, 1,210 liters are reached. In addition, it continues to have the same additional 85 liters of cargo compartment located under the front hood.

Power levels are identical to those of the Taycan range, with between 408 hp and 761 hp, but there are slight variations when it comes to approved ranges. The Taycan 4S Sport Turismo with the 83.7 kWh net battery is the version with the longest range between charges, with 498 kilometers approved, while the range-access Taycan Sport Turismo is the one with the least range, with 430 km.
