The Ingolstadt firm has presented the second generation of its electric scooter, an e-scooter designed between Audi and Egret with 80 kilometers of autonomy.
Audi is not only focused on the development of a new generation of electric cars, but also on the search for new personal mobility solutions for large urban centers and one of the most interesting assets for the brand are electric scooters. In fact, Audi has presented its new electric scooter that it has developed in collaboration with Egret.
This is the second generation of its electric scooter, the Audi electric kick scooter powered by Egret. According to the German brand, it is “designed for users looking for a sporty and premium option among electric scooters.” It is already on sale and is included in the Audi Genuine Accessories area as a “quality and cutting-edge electric mobility solution”.
Audi’s new electric scooter has been developed together with Egret and has a range of 80 km
Equipped with a compact 840 Wh capacity 48 V lithium-ion battery, the e-scooter from Audi can travel up to 80 kilometers on a single charge. The battery is located under the deck of the skate, has IPX7 protection against water and can be fully charged from a household outlet in 5 and a half hours.
This battery powers an electric motor with a nominal power of 500 W and a maximum torque of 27 Nm. In turn, the dynamic section of the Audi electric scooter integrates hydraulic brakes with 120 mm discs on the front and rear wheels, which are wrapped in 10-inch tires with an air chamber.
With a top speed of 25 km/h, Audi and Egret’s second-generation e-scooter offers three riding modes: Eco, Tour and Sport. The handlebar, which is height adjustable, can be folded for easy transport, weighs 22.5 kilos and offers a maximum load capacity of 120 kilos.
Among its equipment, the LED rear light and the LED color screen stand out, where you can check information such as speed, battery charge status, the selected driving mode or the status of the Bluetooth connection. You can connect your smartphone to the scooter through the Egret mobile app and control the charging status, change the riding mode or lock the scooter.
