We have been showing you spy photos of the future BMW R 1300 GS (remember that the initials R 1400 GS and M 1300 GS have also been registered). This is the new maxitrail with a fully liquid-cooled boxer engine (the current 1250 only cools the cylinder head).
Now and in the BMW networks a teaser has appeared that shows a motorcycle completely covered by a cover, on the occasion of the upcoming celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Munich brand.
Although BMW can surprise us with anything, even with a new 100th Anniversary version of the current R 1250 GS (it already made one for the 40th anniversary of the GS itself), we believe that the centenary deserves something more powerful. And what is more ‘cane’ for BMW than its best seller, the GS?
The bike under the tarpaulin has a high windshield, as well as a raised handlebar. At the rear, the turn signals and the passenger seat stand out. We would bet our bonus that it is a maxitrail, and it makes more sense that it is a GS than an XR.
Well, you can also speculate. In fact, the text says so: “Guess what’s coming…”
