After launching the CB350 H’ness in 2020, in line with those famous CBs from the 70s, just the following year the Japanese brand put its more casual RS version on the market. This motorcycle is having a lot of success in Asia and there was speculation about the possibility of it reaching Europe, although for now only its rival, the Royal Enfield
There was talk that we would see a sportier CB350, in the cafe racer style, and this is precisely what the Tokyo firm presented at dealerships in India, as revealed by Rushlane and Thrustzone, publications from the Asian country.
The bike still does not have an official name, but everything indicates that it will be called the Honda CB350 Café Racer.
From what I could see, it adopts a nose screen for the headlight and a removable tail cover. In addition, it also mounts several elements in black that in the H’Ness and RS are chrome or metallic.
We see that in front it mounts the fork bellows of the RS and that they give it that more ‘thug’ aspect.
The instrumentation must be the same, as well as the cycle part and the engine, which yields 21 CV at 5,500 rpm and a torque of 30 Nm at 3,000 rpm.
Let’s remember that it has a 5-speed gearbox, assisted and slipper clutch, HSTC adjustable torque control and Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) connectivity, with USB charging port.
And no, at the moment there don’t seem to be any plans on the part of Honda for this beautiful CB350 Café Racer to arrive either. There were already rumors that the H’ness and RS would arrive, and it was not to be. I’m sure many newbies and veterans would love it too.
