The off-road beast of the Bologna brand debuts a version with new Dakar colors, even more impressive, and the fact is that the Ducati DesertX 2023 promises to be even more aggressive.

With the Dakar about to come to an end, we show you the 2023 version of the Borgo Panigale off road maxitrail.

It is the same motorcycle that you know, but with a small extra detail, and that is that, if until now the only decoration available was white, now it has a second color version.

And yes, it is the black decoration that you see in the images, a color scheme that is exactly the same as that used by Carlos Sainz’s Audi RS Q e-tron in the Dakar.

The new RR22 colors are very aggressive.

The new decoration called RR22 combines the main black color with reddish and gray tones, and adds a very attractive red passenger seat.

The 2023 Ducati DesertX in this color scheme is slightly more expensive than at the time of its launch, now costing €17,890, €500 more than the version in Star White Silk.

For the rest it is the same DesertX from 2022, with the same Testastretta 937 engine, the same V2 90º engine from the Hypermotard and the Monster -4T, LC, 8V, Desmo, IE-, with 110 CV.

The chassis also maintains the steel trellis frame with a fully adjustable KYB 46mm upside-down fork, cast aluminum double-arm swingarm and KYB rear monoshock.

Like the one in the Audi Dakar by Carlos Sainz.

And it has a 21″ front wheel and an 18″ rear wheel, both spoked, with double 320mm front brake discs with Brembo M50 radial monobloc calipers.

The instrumentation is a 5” vertical TFT color screen, with Bluetooth that allows you to connect the smartphone -Ducati Multimedia System- and have turn by turn navigation -optional-.

And there is no lack of all the security electronics with IMU, Cornering ABS, 6 power modes, Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro and Rally, tilt-sensitive traction control, wheelie control…

Finally, remember that a 95 CV version is also available, limited to the maximum 48 CV that the A2 allows. A precious beast.
