Follow the last (and most important) day of pre-season tests at the Bahrain Circuit.

Today the pre-season tests of F1 2023 in Bahrain end. After two intense days, this last day, with Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz on the track, will allow us to have a clearer picture of the situation of the single-seaters with which the Spanish drivers will compete this season in the premier class.

The sensations, so far, are very good both in the Aston Martin F1 box and in the Ferrari box. Alonso has finished second and third in the two test days, and Sainz has even been the fastest during the second morning. Likewise, the two have been able to drive without mechanical problems, which has allowed them to work on the development of the car.

There are still many unknowns to be resolved on the third day of winter testing in Bahrain. Beyond the performance of the Spanish car, it will be necessary to see, among other things, if Red Bull has as much advantage over the rest as it seems, and there are also many doubts about the form of Mercedes, which has not appeared at the first places in the tests and, in addition, it has suffered problems.

The competitive middle part of the grid also remains to be configured, where Alfa Romeo is leaving very good feelings and could surprise, even placing itself ahead of McLaren. We will also have to see the true letters of Haas, AlphaTauri, Williams…

If you are wondering how to watch the F1 2023 tests, you should know that DAZN F1 broadcasts the entire day live through its streaming platform. The test times are:

  • Morning session: 08:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
