The story of the Faraday Future FF91 seems to never end. It has been five years since it was presented and has had all kinds of delays but, finally, the light has been seen at the end of the tunnel: the pre-production unit has already been presented and it will be launched on the market this year. This is the powerful electric model.

Its main asset is its electric propulsion system that, if nothing changes (at least the brand has not commented on the matter), has all-wheel drive thanks to having a motor per wheel and delivers a combined power of 1,065 hp and 1,800 Nm of maximum torque, which is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.38 seconds.

According to the latest data provided on the FF91, it would mount a 130 kWh capacity battery with which, according to the EPA approval cycle, it would have a range of 608 kilometers. In addition, the recharging times would be quite short thanks to its compatibility with fast charging stations of up to 200 kW of power.

Another of its strong points is the presence of an advanced autonomous driving system that has three radars, ten cameras and two ultrasonic sensors that are responsible for monitoring the car’s surroundings and then recreating them in three dimensions.

Although the vehicle will be quite advanced in this regard, it still needs the driver’s attention and action, although the company’s goal is that, in a next evolutionary step, it can now drive completely autonomously.

Finally, technology is also very present in its huge cabin (the model is 5.25 meters long) and, as an example, the button that represents the gigantic 27-inch screen enjoyed by the occupants of the rear seats.
