You will not be able to run the race.

Marc Márquez has not had the best weekend at the Indonesian GP: after three crashes throughout practice and qualifying, the Catalan rider had a spectacular accident during the wram-up when he was driving at around 180 km/h. He is fine, but the doctors have declared that he will not be able to participate in the race.

The events took place in a fast right-hand corner, in which the motorcycle blocked while Márquez was practically lying on the asphalt, crossing immediately and going into the air and spinning several times.

The pilot was thrown, spinning once in the air before impacting forcefully with the ground. Despite the hardness of the blow, he was able to get up on his own foot, although with visible gestures of pain on his face. The motorcycle, for his part, ended up destroyed.

After being picked up, he was taken first to the team box and then to the nearest hospital by helicopter, where he was evaluated. The result of the tests has been that he has a head injury with unstable consciousness and polytrauma.

Luckily nothing has broken, but the team is going to follow the protocol of the championship in these cases, which recommends that they rest between 12 and 24 hours, to see the evolution.

In this way, Marc Márquez will not compete in the Mandalika GP in Indonesia.
