One of Milwaukee’s hottest cruisers returns to celebrate its 120th anniversary, the 2023 Harley-Davidson Breakout 117.

The Company decides to celebrate its 120 years of life with a new Breakout, a cruiser that had disappeared from the range and that now returns renewed, and that we already tested at the time but equipped with the old Twin Cam 110B engine in CVO version.

Thus, this hard tail cruiser from the Softail family is added to the 7 120th Anniversary special editions that are launched for the anniversary, so that the celebrations are big.

This muscular 2023 Harley-Davidson Breakout 117 receives a few changes, starting with the new Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin -4T, LC, 8V, DOHC, IE- engine with 1,923 cc and 102 hp.

A pair of stacked Shotgun exhaust mufflers are added, as well as a Heavy Breather air cleaner, to give it a more dragster look.

The 19-litre fuel tank is decorated with a new upper console, although a tiny digital instrumentation is located on the chrome handlebar between the risers, also newly made.

The alloy wheels are 26-spoke, 21 and 16”, with a thick rear tyre, mounts a front and rear disc brake and the final transmission, of course, is by toothed belt.

The pilot and passenger seats are separated, with the package on the second floor and with little space, so it is for an occasional companion, and the driving position is the usual one in cruisers, feet first.

As standard it does not have any kind of security electronics -only cruise control-, since the only gadget available is the traction control that is optional, on a motorcycle with a price starting at 31,300 euros.
