Innengine is the first Spanish development engine in 50 years, with a technology that seeks to revolutionize the sector. The best thing is that, if you want to, you can invest in it, since the company based in Granada is present in Crowdcube.
This website is designed so that any user can become a patron or investor in different kinds of start-ups, and Innengine is among them.
At the time of writing these lines there are still 19 days left until their campaign ends and the good news is that they have already exceeded their fundraising goals.
Initially they were after 560,000 euros, an amount that they have widely exceeded, since they have already achieved 724,394.59 euros, which come from 37 different investors. The price per share is only 16.20 euros, so it is possible to invest modest amounts. To do this, it is as simple as registering on the web and choosing how much you want to invest.
The Spanish company points out that “the funds raised with this community financing will be used to double the number of engineers and machinery to produce prototypes and orders for a few units.”
Innengine Features
Innengine’s argument to cause a sensation is that it is a mechanically simpler engine, of a contained weight and size and that it is capable of offering performance similar to that of larger engines.
It uses 70% less parts than a four-stroke engine and quadruples the performance with respect to displacement. A 700cc Innengine is half the size and weight of a 2800cc four-cylinder four-stroke, but performs just as well. In addition, it can work with any type of fuel.
Two versions have already been developed. The REX-B, to fight in the market for two-stroke engines and between 125 and 350cc; and the E-REX, which has a 700cc, variable distribution, variable compression and pre-combustion chamber. The first will start production in the fourth quarter of 2023 and the second will be ready in 2024.
