A discreet guy in these matters.
Jon Rahm, after winning The Genesis Invitational and getting his fifth victory in the last nine tournaments, has regained number 1 in the world of Golf. The Basque already accumulates a record and a considerable income, but he is quite discreet when it comes to vehicles. This is how little is known about Jon Rahm’s cars.
The first news about the golfer related to the motor world dates back to 2017, when he was still 21 years old.
At that time, after having won a million dollars in the 2015-2016 season, adding an additional 96,000 in his first entry in the 16-17 season, he commented in a podcast that he had indulged in his first whim on wheels, a Porsche from Red color.
About him he only commented that he did not think his parents liked the purchase, also noting that he did not specify which model it was so as not to appear too boastful. This, we assume, implies that it is surely one of the “fat” models of the German company. A Porsche 911 perhaps?
In fact, his main relationship with the automotive world does not leave the German country, since Rahm has been an ambassador for Mercedes since 2018, so he is often seen with different company vehicles.
Among the many models with which he has been seen or posed are the Mercedes GLE, Mercedes S-Class, Mercedes GLS, Mercedes G-Class, a Mercedes EQS and even a Maybach GLS. However, to date he has only revealed one car that has become part of his collection.

As far as Rahm’s copy is concerned, it is even quite discreet, because taking into account the brutality offered by the AMG G-Class, the golfer has opted for a very dark maroon color, which is combined with the black finish for the protections of the front, mirrors, etc., dispensing with chrome almost completely.
On a mechanical level, it is simply a true monster: a 4.0 V8 biturbo engine that delivers 585 hp and 850 Nm, a nine-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive with three differential locks.
As a result, it is both capable of overcoming difficult off-road obstacles and performing when it comes to asphalt: it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h.
