Look at it very, very well, because, although it doesn’t sound like anything to you, I assure you that the new Kove 321RR-S is going to give a lot to talk about very soon.
We have already talked about the Chinese firm Kove -it is part of the Tibet New Summit Motor Co. Ltd. group- in other articles, the firm also known as Colove, the supplier of motorcycles for the national brand Macbor de Motos Bordoy.
Well, today we are going to talk about his latest motorcycle, a very attractive sport touring car for the A2 license. And it is that its stamp is simply impressive, due to its aggressiveness and its beauty of lines and, in a way, its front evokes the design of the latest Chinese electric cars, which are amazing.
The Kove 321RR-S is a sport tourism for the A2 license that moves with a modern twin-cylinder engine -4T, LC, DOHC, 8V, IE- of 322 cc -68 x 44.2 mm- and that offers 41 CV, a more than respectable figure.
And this twin expels its gases through a low-exit exhaust silencer, attractively designed and very tight to the rear wheel.
Curiously, this twin-cylinder engine, manufactured by Kove herself -by her company ZF-KY-, we could say that it is the same one that mounts the Yamaha R3 or the MT-03, since it has the same external architecture, the same internal dimensions of bore per stroke, and up to the same power.
The Kove 321RR-S is an attractive sport tourer powered by a twin-cylinder engine, the same as the Yamaha R3
Yes, it is a two-cylinder, that is, it is in direct competition with the Yamaha R3 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400, models already known and with which it will face… But let’s not anticipate events.
In the cycle part, it is equipped with a steel perimeter multi-tubular chassis, a multi-adjustable inverted fork -with separate compression and rebound adjustments, on each leg, and anchored to an upper plate reminiscent of a Yamaha R1- and a rear monoshock that works on linkages. .
As for the swingarm, it is a robust and spectacular single-sided cast aluminum, the most special part of the cycle part, with 17″ alloy wheels and tires in sizes 110/70R x 17″ and 150/60R x 17″.
To brake, it mounts a huge 320 mm front petal disc, bitten by a Brembo radial-mount caliper, plus another petal rear disc.
The lighting is full led, as instrumentation it is equipped with a 4” TFT color screen and has a USB socket.
It is not a small motorcycle since its seat is 800 mm from the ground, the wheelbase is 1,380 mm and its dry weight is 143 kg.
And here comes the surprise, because this Kove 321RR-S will participate in the SBK World Championship in the SSP300 category, fighting against Yamaha, Kawasaki and KTM.
We do not know if this attractive sports car will reach our country, but if it did, it would be a tough rival for the Japanese rivals… And fighting with their same weapons…
