Lunaz is a company specialized in retomods, but with the peculiarity that it also converts them into electric cars. The concept itself will be like blood in the wound for the most purists, but the reality is that it is giving rise to the most striking models, this time resulting in a classic Range Rover that is now an electric convertible.
Commissioned by a client from Long Island, the order wanted to transform the off-roader into a kind of yacht for the asphalt, something that has been achieved by converting it into a Safari version that lacks a roof, which forced the inclusion of reinforcements in the chassis to guarantee the rigidity.
The really curious thing is the format that has been chosen for the interior, since only the two conventional front seats remain, while the entire rear is made up of two benches (which could be considered sofas without any problem) in which they can go six people minimum, possibly up to eight.
The preparer has opted for a soft pale sky blue for the bodywork, which is also transferred to the upholstery of the seats, which have details in white and orange. It also sports dark blue areas on the dashboard and doors, while the final touch is put by the wooden floor in the rear.
Regarding its mechanical section, the firm has not specified what its propulsion system is, although it is likely that it is the standard kit that it offers to the Range Rover, that is, two engines that give it all-wheel drive, developing a power of 365 CV and a maximum torque of 609 Nm.
Lunaz has not revealed how much this Land Rover specifically cost, but it does have in its price list that the basic rate for the model starts at 281,500 euros, which makes it clear that it is something only within the reach of a few.
