British colleagues from MCN have managed these spy photos of the new Husqvarna Svartpilen and Vitpilen 125 2023.
In them you can see important changes with respect to the current model, changes that affect all aspects.
Starting with the cycle part, both the Svartpilen scrambler and the Vitpilen naked can see a new chassis and a subframe different from the current ones. The swingarm is also different, with a reinforcement at the top inside which the chain runs.
The engine has different crankcase covers than those used by the current single-cylinder. The exhaust is more voluminous, and we believe that both measures are aimed at reducing emissions and noise, since the performance should be the same, that is, 15 hp.
In the Svartpilen we now see a sump protector, when until now there was only a small one that protects the catalytic converter.
As we saw in the spy photos of the KTM Dukes, the front brake switches sides, going from left to right. In both cases, a Bybre clamp with radial anchorage is mounted.
Aesthetically there are also changes, the spoke rims and mixed tires are still maintained on the scrambler and alloy wheels and road tires on the naked.
Now the radiator shows some showy side covers, and if in the Vitpilen the subframe is completely covered in the Svartpilen it is visible.
The instrumentation now appears to be a color TFT screen, rather than the current monochrome LCD.
The Husqvarna Svartpilen Vitpilen 125 must be present in the autumn shows.
