Triumph has just announced a collaboration agreement with the Breitling watch brand for the launch of 270 units of the new Speed Twin Breitling Edition and the Breitling Top Time Triumph Edition chronograph.

This watch will only be available to owners of the Speed Twin Breitling Edition and will be assigned the same serial number as each bike.

The Speed Twin Breitling Edition sports an elegant color scheme with handcrafted paint finishes, as well as unique details and high-spec components.

Each of the 270 manufactured units, of which only 5 will arrive in Spain at a price of €19,000, is delivered accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

This certificate is signed by Nick Bloor, CEO of Triumph Motorcycles, and Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling, and features the serial number engraved on the handlebar clamp.

The 270 units will be assigned to their lucky future owners by strict reservation order through official dealers and will be delivered at the beginning of July.

The high-precision Breitling chronograph shares the bike’s unique Ice Blue paint scheme and references the identical polychromatic blue as the original color of the 1951 Triumph Thunderbird.

An additional collector’s version of the Top Time Triumph chronograph will also be launched, for those passionate about the British firm in particular who only wish to purchase the watch.

Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Edition

The Triumph Speed Twin Breitling Edition special edition is equipped with a 1,200cc twin-cylinder engine with 100 hp at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 112 Nm and also has specific components.

Like the fully adjustable Öhlins double rear shock absorber, with independent piggy-back reservoirs and springs decorated in gloss black.

And the unique polychromatic blue paint scheme like that of the legendary Triumph Thunderbird 6T immortalized alongside Marlon Brando in the legendary 1953 film ‘Savage’.

To achieve the same color, a book of samples of the original factory paint from 1950 was used, which contained a color notch in perfect condition and which allowed the use of the spectrograph to extract the exact color information.

Further handcrafted details are found in the jet black stripe with Breitling lettering on the tank, which is complemented by the jet black finished side panels and headlamp.

And in the customization of the engine covers with the emblem of the watchmaking firm, or in the dials of the instrument panel, which share style details with those of the Breitling Top Time Triumph chronograph dial.

Not to mention a unique perforated black leather seat to match the Breitling Top Time strap featuring quilted ribbed detailing and an elegant embroidered Breitling ‘B’.
