Feeling like a pilot without leaving your salary or fearing that “you will be run over” is now possible with the new competition of the tuning fork brand, the Yamaha R7 Cup, where you can experience the passion for speed.

This championship is celebrated in unison in various European countries and also in our country, with a great European superfinal with the best from each country.

The motorcycle with which this cup is disputed is the well-known Yamaha R7, based on the MT-07, but highly modified in terms of suspension and chassis, equipped with a full fairing and a sporty riding position.

The CP2 twin-cylinder engine -4T, LC, 8V, DOHC, IE- develops 75 CV, enough to have fun without freaking out. It is a bike that is easy to ride, light and with “human” power, ideal for this cup.

The Yamaha R7 Cup is a championship for amateur riders only -the list of winners is limited-, affordable and suitable for everyone. Stars are not sought for MotoGP but only bikers who want to experience the thrill of competing on a speed circuit.

The Yamaha R7 Cup is not a promotional cup but a fun cup

To participate, it is only required to be at least 16 years old, and not have been above 8th position in the 300, 600 or 1000 categories of the Spanish Speed Championship in the last 8 years.

This championship will consist of 8 races that will be held in 4 different circuits between the months of June and August: Alcarràs, Barcelona-Catalunya, Motorland and Cartagena.

So there will be no large travel expenses nor will it be a very long championship, ideal for not getting tired or leaving the dough.

The top three finishers will go to the grand European superfinal

There, in addition to meeting the official Yamaha riders, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu and Andrea Locatelli, you will receive advice from the technicians of the official Yamaha WorldSBK team.

If you want to live this incredible experience you can register on the cup website where you will receive more information, you will see the calendar, requirements and more.

The registration price (16,999 euros) includes a registrable Yamaha R7 (when the Cup is over you can return the bike to its original condition) and GYTR parts to adapt the bike to the circuit.

They also give you an AG10 ‘Airbag ready’ kangaroo skin suit, Airoh GP550S helmet, set of Pirelli tires, Yamaha Racing clothing for you and your passenger, Yamalube lubricant and race registrations.

If you want to have fun safely on a circuit, feel the passion of racing, but without feeling overwhelmed by riders looking for their place in MotoGP, this is your championship.
