The Chennai firm’s retro naked twins, the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT, are updated with interesting changes and even more attractive colours.
After its launch in 2018, it was time for a facelift, even if it is superficial and not visible externally, it is clearly interesting.
The new twins, which have been unveiled at the Lyon Motor Show in France, held this week, stand out for their new livery with the engine and exhaust pipes in satin black, as well as two new colours.
The Interceptor 650 -the naked- will be available in two Blackout variants, the Black Ray and the Barcelona Blue, in addition to the existing Mark 2, Sunset Strip and Canyon Red.
Speaking of the Continental GT 650, the café racer, two new versions have been added, Blackout Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey, which complement the current colors Mr Clean, Dux Deluxe, British Racing Green and Rocker Red.

In addition to all this, they also incorporate alloy wheels already equipped with tubeless tires, without a tube, an interesting improvement in safety.
But there is still more, since ergonomics is improved thanks to a more comfortable seat and new switches, to which is added a USB port and a new full LED headlight.
Let us remember that both models are equipped with the parallel twin-cylinder engine -which is also equipped with the new Super Meteor– of 648 cc and 47 CV -4T, air-oil, 8V, DOHC, IE-, for the A2 license.
In the cycle part they are equipped with a Harris Performance steel double cradle chassis, conventional fork, two rear shock absorbers, 18” wheels, plus a front and a rear disc brake with Bybre calipers and ABS.
The instrumentation is a double analog sphere with small windows for LCD screens, all retro; here there are no changes.
Both models are already available at a price of €6,987 for the Interceptor 650 and €7,187 for the Continental GT 650.
