Group 0 seats are the ones that protect the little ones. These Child Restraint Systems (SRI) are approved for babies from birth and until they exceed 13 kilos or 75 centimeters.

For this age and/or weight range, two regulations currently coexist: ECE R44/04 sets the limit in kilos (from 0 to 10 kilos; or 13 kilos if it is Group 0+); and the R129 which is based on height (from 40 to 75 cm).

Group 0 seats must always travel against the march. The standard establishes that they must be installed at the rear of the vehicle; They may only be placed in the passenger seat when the other seats are occupied by CRS. Important: if this seat is used, the airbag must be disconnected.
