Soccer! The Copa del Rey is back for another year. And you already know that it means several things. The first is that we can come across some of the craziest matches in history. And the second is that, some matches, we will be able to see them openly and not only on streaming or pay television. Ready for the best Spanish football?
Tomorrow the Copa del Rey kicks off. It is a fantastic competition, since, as if it were a Cinderella story, humble teams have the opportunity to face the most important teams in Spanish football. And sometimes the results are unexpected. The first day begins this October 29 at 7:00 p.m. with a good series of matches so that we can enjoy non-stop football of the best quality.
Various viewing options
As usually happens every year, the Copa del Rey reaches out to different fronts so that we can enjoy the matches in the best possible way. The matches are divided between several services and although not all of them will be available openly, there will be a good number of them. Furthermore, some can only be seen on regional channels since they include teams whose fans are, for the most part, in certain regions of Spain (in Aragon, for example, there will be a significant number of matches).
On the one hand, Movistar Plus+ is one of the services that will broadcast a large number of matches. The bulk of them will be seen with the All Football package that you can contract as a customer of the operator, but with the Movistar Plus+ streaming platform you will also have matches. On the other hand, there will be 15 matches that can be seen on DTT through Teledeporte and that will also be accessible live through the RTVE Play online platform. Of these 15 matches, two matches from each of the rounds will be included to begin with. In addition, RTVE will also broadcast the four semi-final matches and, of course, the final.
Along with all this, we must not leave aside the fact that, as we said, the regional channels are also going to broadcast matches. You can watch them from the region in question or through television and streaming services that have access to the channels. A good example of this type of channel will be Aragón Televisión, which has been reaffirming its commitment to Aragonese sport for some time, and Castilla La Mancha Media. In any case, it is possible that other names of networks that are responsible for broadcasting some matches will be added.
How to watch the first games?
Knowing exactly where each match of the competition will be seen is not possible today, but we can help you with the first matches.
