The Italian “maxi” trail has been and is one of the most successful models in its category. For just over 6,000 euros (€6,290 in its standard version) we will obtain a great motorcycle both at a functional level, as well as in terms of equipment and features. And it is that despite being a 500 cc, with a power of 47.6 CV, its size and ergonomics are comparable to those of much larger models. It stands out for its imposing appearance, aerodynamic protection, high ride comfort and for its standard equipment with anti-fall protections, handguards, LCD dashboard, LED lighting, etc. As well as for the quality of many of the elements that make up its cycle part, among which stand out its spectacular multi-tubular chassis, long-distance suspension -135 mm on both axles-, powerful braking (two 320 mm discs at the front with 4-piston radial mount) and a 20-litre fuel tank that gives it a very long range of travel.

It is an ultralight naked (weighs 184 kg) and very agile, with extraordinary maneuverability that makes it a motorcycle as effective in the city as it is fun on the road. It has the services of a popular parallel-twin engine from the CP2 family, known for its Crossplane philosophy with the crankshaft set at 270º that gives rise to excellent torque delivery. In its latest update it has gained in originality of design and quality of finishes, although it maintains its discreet level of equipment in which we do not find electronic driving aids, apart from the mandatory ABS as standard. Despite this, it relies on a solvent cycle part that, although it does not have any component that particularly attracts attention, demonstrates excellent balance and behavior at all levels.
Honda CBR 650 R: Logical sportiness

Like a good CBR, the Honda CBR 650 R wields a perfect balance between sportiness and relative ride comfort. While many of its competitors are betting on twin-cylinder engines, the Japanese Supersport maintains its confidence in an extremely smooth and sharp 649cc four-cylinder engine that develops 95 HP of power. Without a doubt, one of its main hallmarks along with a spectacular aesthetic completely inspired by its brutal older sister, the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R. Among its most attractive technical arguments we find an inverted Showa fork with separate functions, Nissin four-piston radially mounted brake calipers at the front and the traction control system (HSTC) as standard. All this and more, for a price of €9,300.

Of course, there are similar models at a significantly lower price, but we have chosen the Macbor model for the guarantee of quality and prestige of a manufacturer that, behind it, has the experience of a family as biker as Motos Bordoy. The Eight Mile 500 Street strictly complies with the neo-retro stereotype, boasting a beautiful design and a very good quality finish. It enjoys very careful standard equipment, with a color digital dashboard, power outlet and full-LED lighting. Also, it is very solvent on a technical level thanks to its Kayaba suspensions, Nissin brakes and a 471 cc twin-cylinder engine that develops 47 HP of power.
