These are all the car brands that will go to the 2022 Paris Motor Show to present all their latest news to the public between October 18 and 23.

The 2022 Paris Motor Show is being held for the first time this year since 2018. As a result of the delicate health situation, what is one of the most important automobile fairs in Europe has not been able to open its doors. That is why this year is so important, and we show you which are the car brands that will go to the 2022 Paris Motor Show.

This year’s event is scheduled to be held between October 18 and 23, reserving the October 17 appointment for the press and specialized media that come to the French capital to cover the show. This year’s edition, as always, is held in the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles.

At the 2022 Mondial de l’Automobile, many of the latest innovations that have been unveiled in recent months will be presented, as well as numerous prototypes that are reserved for the occasion, state-of-the-art technologies and even part of the show for classic cars.

Electric cars will be the main protagonists in this year’s edition of the Paris Motor Show. Many are the manufacturers that take advantage of these massive events to present their latest developments in the field of electrification to their potential customers, so we expect several new models and concept cars with this type of propulsion system.

However, despite the fact that four years have passed since the last time this car fair was held in the French capital, a significant reduction in the number of participants and, consequently, of exhibitors is expected in this edition.

In fact, we already know which are all the brands that have declined the invitation to be present at the 2022 Paris Motor Show, and there are several. Among those who will not attend are brands such as Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Citroën, Ferrari, Fiat, Hyundai or Kia. But there is more, because Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen will not be either.

Luckily, we will have some important manufacturers that are going to attend the Paris event. One of them will be Alpine, which plans to present a prototype SUV that will later be materialized in a mass production car.

There will also be Dacia, which will be accompanied by its entire range of models to show attendees how the new brand identity that they announced a few months ago suits them. In addition, it will show two important novelties, a camperized Dacia Jogger and the impressive Dacia Manifesto Concept.

Pininfarina will also be present at the 2022 Paris Motor Show and will do so with a hydrogen-powered conceptual crossover that it has developed together with the Asian company NAMX.

Nor can we forget Renault, which will be one of the brands with the most presence at the Paris show. It will arrive to show the public the electric version of the Renault Kangoo and the Renault Megane, both with the surname E-Tech, while the Renault Austral with hybrid mechanics will also be one of the highlights of its stand.

However, the signature of the rhombus reserves two important novelties. The first is the so-called R5 Turbo 3E, an electric prototype inspired by the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo; and a concept car based on the legendary Renault 4, which is considered a preview of the production car that we will see in the near future.

DS and Peugeot will be other brands that will attend the event and will show their latest developments to the public, such as the revamped DS 3 and the new fully electric Peugeot 408 and Peugeot e-308. We cannot forget Jeep, which is another of those that will be present and that will exhibit the Jeep Avenger, the company’s first electric model.

Finally, Asian brands such as BYD, Great Wall Motors and Hopium will also show their vehicles to potential European customers. Smart, which has resurfaced by completely reinventing itself, will be accompanied by Fisker and Microlino at the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles between October 18 and 23.
