The new Hyundai Staria Lounge Camper converts into a motorhome for two people. It has just been revealed and it comes in two different versions.
Recently, Hyundai has presented a camperized version of its new minivan. The Hyundai Staria Lounge Camper was unveiled this week in South Korea, and comes with two different versions and space for up to two passengers, who can enjoy outdoor activities or camping with everything you need.
The minivan with up to 7 seats has been converted into a camper van that is available in two versions, Camper 4 and Camper 11, depending on the number of seats available. From the outside we can see that it is equipped with a pop-up roof that unfolds electrically and an exterior awning to enjoy the views.
The Hyundai Staria Lounge Camper becomes a motorhome for two people
To prevent mosquitoes from entering the interior, Hyundai has installed a mosquito net on the rear door that will also allow you to have it open without problems. Inside, the two passengers will be able to enjoy a kitchen with a 36-litre refrigerator, a sink, a folding table and side shelves to store objects.
The passenger compartment has been designed so that two people can rest comfortably. They will do so on an air cushion that is installed in the rear of the Hyundai Staria, folding down the rear seats completely. Additionally, a shower head can be installed at the rear to create an impromptu shower. However, the Hyundai camper does not have a toilet.
The Staria Lounge Camper is available with two engines. The first is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel. The second is a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine that can also run on LPG.
As for prices, at the moment only the rates for South Korea are known. The Hyundai Staria Lounge Camper 11 is available from 49,470,000 won (37,000 euros), while the Camper 4 version with a more luxurious treatment, has a starting price of 68,580,000 won (51,000 euros).
