PC gamers are in luck. As usual, Epic Games is giving away a free game every week through its online store, so that users can add it to their library forever and play it at any time. Typically, they give away real gems with a low budget and others with a more exhaustive development known as Triple AAA. We tell you what game it is and how you can get it for free.
For another week, owners of a PC with a Windows operating system will be able to request a new game from the Epic Games Store, which is currently available for a limited time. For this reason, keep in mind that these types of gifts have a set date to be able to get them, so you must be attentive so as not to miss the opportunity and be left without your prize. Specifically, free games are usually active for a full week, a reasonable amount of time that gives you time to add it to your library.
The new free game from Epic Games
If you haven’t signed up for the Epic Games Store yet, you’re taking too long. You’ll get a free game every week, so there’s no reason not to spend a few seconds creating an account on the Fortnite creator platform.
Once you have logged in in any of the ways indicated, you must go to where it says Store and scroll down to find the free game of the week: The Falconeer. Then, add it to your games list and you’re ready to start enjoying it.
This open-world indie title will take you through the skies on the back of a powerful war falcon to battle fearsome enemies who will try to take you down from several fronts, using their ships, planes, turrets, and even other birds that will attack you with ray guns. During your journey, you will visit different ocean areas devastated by civilization and explore the most remote corners of The Great Ursee.
In addition, this release has received very good reviews from specialized video game magazines, and was even nominated for the BAFTA awards by independent developer Tomas Sala.
The Falconeer Standard Edition is available on the Epic Games Store until July 11 at 5:00 p.m. You won’t need too many resources on your computer to run the game, as it has very affordable recommended requirements.
Next week’s surprise revealed
So, the next game Epic Games will be releasing next week has already been leaked. It’s Floppy Knights, a turn-based RPG title that will replace The Falconeer, with an availability date tag of July 11th – 18th at 5:00 p.m.
Epic Games is reinforcing its tradition of giving away games left and right for another week to create a large collection on its platform. So, you will no longer have an excuse to beat the heat during the summer months and make the hot afternoons a little more pleasant.
