The best year in its history.
2022 has served once again, and within the world of cars, that situations do not affect the poor and rich in the same way. With a market in recession that general brands are suffering, luxury car companies are left with the other side of the coin, achieving a year of record sales.
It is not the first time this has happened, nor will it be the last, but Bugatti, Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce will remember last year for being the year in which they exceeded their best figures for vehicles delivered. Of course, it is possible that in January 2023 they will have to update their information because, seeing the trend of the Italian, they will surely surpass themselves again.
Bugatti is one of the most exclusive manufacturers in the world, it makes few cars and each of them has an astronomical value, a good formula to achieve high profitability.
That in 2022 “only” it has delivered 80 units may not seem like much, but it is the maximum in its history and, taking into account that a large part of them have been very expensive models such as the Bugatti Centodieci, the company must be more than happy with its income. .
Lamborghini, for its part, is a brand that could be considered an example to follow in the luxury segment, since since the Lamborghini Urus entered the equation, its sales figures have not stopped going up and up.
It has sold 9,233 cars, which implies an increase of 10% compared to the previous year, and the distribution of sales has been as follows: 5,367 units of the Urus, 3,113 units of the Huracán and 753 units of the Lamborghini Aventador.
As for Rolls-Royce, its total sales have been considerably lower, at “only” 6,021 examples, but that figure still represents an 8% increase compared to 2021 records. In addition, many of its customers have chosen to personalize their vehicles, especially in the Middle East, where the average per unit is half a million euros.
