The VW ID. Buzz receives his first prep courtesy of specialist Prior Design. Sportier and more exclusive style, but without an increase in power.

Probably when Volkswagen released the ID. Buzz to market the only modification his new electric van was hoping for was camper conversions. However, there are always those who look for the most radical, sporty and exclusive side to a vehicle and this is where Prior Design enters the scene to show us the first preparation of the Volkswagen ID. Buzz.

The specialist in the aftermarket has carried out a complete aesthetic work to improve the appearance of one of the main members of the range of electric cars from the German firm. The ID. Prior Design’s Buzz looks really cool, and I would even venture to say that it may have its following, although I doubt it will ever popularize this body kit.

The aesthetic changes of the ID. Buzz begin at the lower section of the front grille, which has been darkened compared to the body-color grille that came from the factory. We also find a front splitter at the same time that Prior Design technicians have drastically reduced the ground clearance of the van.

Continuing along the sides of the electric van we find new sills with small aerodynamic appendages that give it a touch of subtle style. And at the rear, kit buyers will receive a roof-mounted spoiler, a redesigned bumper and a diffuser that follows the line of the sills.

Apparently, this aesthetic kit for the Volkswagen ID. Prior Design’s Buzz hasn’t changed inside, at least for now. Where we can find it is in the rims, which have a very aerodynamic style, partially faired and with small openings in the profiles. They are finished in white to further highlight your image.

At the moment, this body kit is a proposal, so it is not for sale. Prior Design hopes to receive feedback from potential buyers and, if accepted, could begin developing and manufacturing all of these enhancements later this year. Of course, we don’t know anything about prices.
