They fine in both directions and control up to six lanes. These are the new city radars that already work in Spain, specifically, in Pamplona.

Speeding is still one of the most frequent offenses on our roads and, unfortunately, also in urban environments. For this reason, city councils implement measures to stop offenders, such as the new city radars that already work in Spain and fine in both directions, controlling up to six lanes at the same time.

The new radars are located in the city of Pamplona and have been operational since last November. These speed cameras have been expanded in recent days with the addition of five more radars. These are post speedometers located on streets and avenues that are easily identifiable by their yellow color and are duly signposted.

These 5 new radars are added to the 12 already existing and have been released together with two speedometers that rotate between the 5 new radars, so drivers never know which post the radar is installed on and which one is not. They also have the ability to control up to 6 lanes at the same time and can fine offenders who circulate in the directions.

These Pamplona radars are located on Aróstegui Avenue (at the height of Inquinasa), on the Sarriguren road (at the height of La Chimenea), on the Beloso slope, on Navarra Avenue (next to the Gas Station of Iturrama) and on the avenue of San Jorge in Landaben (at the height of Koxka).

The radars have proven to be tremendously effective, since since their implementation they have quadrupled the number of sanctions imposed. Some of the cinemometers are close to 4,000 vehicles sanctioned in just 15 days, while others are around 2,500 fines in the same period of time.

The new radars are fully operational and these are their exact locations:
