Redefining the concept of “shopping”.
Buying a Bugatti is something that is within the reach of very few people. Buying 8 in one go, even though a few of them are “toys”, is only for the elite of the elite. And it is just what a wealthy and anonymous buyer has just done, who took full advantage of his visit to the company’s factory.
According to the firm, it is a client who has been purchasing models of the brand for a long time, went to its headquarters in Molsheim with the family and gave a new meaning to the phrase “go shopping”:
- Six units of the Baby Bugatti II
- A Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+
- A Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition
It goes without saying that the amount of said shopping basket is astronomical, but we are going to try to detail it.
The Baby Bugatti II may seem “cheap”, but nothing is further from the truth, since each of these 75% scale replicas costs between 30,000 euros if we talk about the basic model and 58,500 euros if it is the Pur Sang. If we have to bet, they will surely be the last ones, so we would talk about something more than 350,000 euros.
The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ belongs to the limited series created to celebrate the milestone of exceeding 300 mph (490,484 km/h), of which only 30 units were produced and each one is worth 3.5 million euros, considerably more than the standard Bugatti Chiron.
Finally, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition is not a new vehicle, but rather a second-hand model certified by “La Maison Pur Sang.” New it cost almost two million euros and only 8 copies were made, so it is quite likely that used it cost even more money.
They were created to celebrate breaking the record for top speed among convertibles at 408.84 km/h and their color scheme inspired that of the Chiron Super Sport 300+.
