This is the Nio EC6 NT2, an electric SUV that will debut next month at the Shanghai Auto Show
Nio is one of the many Chinese brands of electric cars that are hitting very hard lately and a new model is about to come out of the oven, a Chinese SUV that has been updated and we will see it next month at the Motor Show in Shanghai.
This model was released in 2019 and is now getting an update. It is not confirmed yet, but it is likely that this new Chinese SUV will be called Nio EC6 NT2. One of the main innovations is found in the propulsion system.
According to documents from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information, the new model would be equipped with two electric motors, one on each axis, which deliver a power of 360 kW (489 CV). However, details about the capacity of the battery and its autonomy are unknown.

Aesthetically, we are dealing with an SUV with a strong coupe and sporty style that is reminiscent, albeit distantly, of the Porsche Macan, as can be seen from the rear. Here we find thin optics joined in the center by a ribbon, similar to the German model, instead of the design of the previous model, to which the images that accompany the article correspond.
At the front, the headlights are divided into two sections, leaving the LED daytime running lights above and the main headlights at the ends of the bumper below. In the side view, it shows slightly marked wheel arches and flat surfaces. The mirrors seem improved, compared to previous models of the brand.
The elements that protrude from the upper part of the windshield and that could be supports that include the sensors for driving aids are striking.
On the other hand, there are no images of the interior, so we will have to wait for the official presentation of this new Chinese SUV to get to know it. However, a very minimalist and technological cabin is expected, with a large digital screen on the dashboard.
