This is what you have to do to get a 10% discount on gasoline until the end of 2022

Banks and shops offer additional benefits.

The price of gasoline seems to have been contained in part, but it is still skyrocketing. The “consolation” that remains is that, at least until the end of the year, the Government will keep the reduction of 20 cents per liter active. In addition, it is possible to obtain up to a 10% discount on gasoline until the end of 2022 in a relatively simple way.

And it is that there are many entities, from banks to shopping centers, that offer their customers additional discounts if they meet certain requirements, which usually consist of using certain credit cards or refueling at specific gas stations.

We are going to review what the existing possibilities are, which companies offer them and what needs to be done specifically with each one of them to benefit from cheaper fuel.

Abanca has discounts at GALP stations if you pay with your card, up to a 5% discount with Visa Abanca Personal, Visa Gold or Visa Platinum; 4% with Visa Tú and the rest of Abanca’s Visa and MasterCard credit cards and only 2% with debit cards.

Bankinter allows, through the use of the My BP Visa credit card, to obtain a refund of up to 12% at BP gas stations if deferred payment is used, which drops to 9% if paid at the end of the month.

With BBVA, the Repsol plus Visa card offers a discount of 7 cents per liter at Repsol service stations and 5% at stores, lubricants, car washes and Blue+.

In the case of Carrefour, using the Pass Card is used to, when refueling at Cepsa gas stations, enjoy a discount of 8 and accumulate 4% in the Carrefour Savings Check.

El Corte Inglés, for its part, gives discount vouchers for 4% of the total amount payable with the Purchase Card at Repsol, Campsa and Petronor service stations.

EVO Banco returns to its users 2% of all purchases made with their credit and debit cards at GALP service stations.

Ibercaja has the Ibercaja Repsol Máxima card, which at the oil company’s service stations offers a 2% discount on fuel, 3% on premium fuels and 5% on car wash services and shops.

The use of ING cards in Shell and GALP entails a refund of 3% of the amount spent on fuel.

WiZink has the Mastercard Porque Tú Vuelves card, which at Cepsa Gas Stations entails a direct discount of 3% on fuel and an additional 3% if more than 300 euros are spent per month in other types of businesses.
