There are leaders, senior executives or presidents of large corporations, very wealthy people, in short, who do not use a normal vehicle to get around. Not even the most luxurious car for sale. An example is this exclusive Toyota Century GRMN, the car of which there is only one unit and it is driven by the CEO.
The Toyota Century is the Japanese firm’s great luxury sedan since the 1960s and it is logical that it is the vehicle used by its top leader, Akio Toyoda. A car whose cost amounts to about 150,000 euros and is equipped with all possible luxuries.
But it is not just any Century, but rather a custom-made one-off for Toyoda, which has been using it since 2018. This Century GRMN is a sports version of the brand’s flagship and, as you can imagine, it costs much more than the 150,000 euros of the normal version.

This prototype has a sportier aesthetic kit, although it does not stop being an elegant sedan, whose length exceeds five meters. The presence of the black color that finishes off the skirts, the rear-view mirrors and the grille stand out, in contrast to the white of the bodywork.
It includes some BBS rims, a small spoiler in the trunk and the GRMN insignia in different points of the bodywork. As a curiosity, the license plate shows the number 1867, the year of birth of Sakichi Toyoda, the founder of the brand and great-grandfather of the current CEO.

Apart from the aesthetic details, Akio Toyoda’s Toyota Century GRMN incorporates some elements that improve the performance of the vehicle, such as a specific suspension and an all-wheel drive system.
About the engine that drives this unique Century is a mystery, although it would not be unreasonable to think that it mounts a very powerful block. Taking the conventional Century’s 425bhp 5.0-litre V8 as a starting point, you can imagine Toyoda’s unit surpassing that power.
Without a doubt, we are facing the most mysterious car of Toyota and not much more information is known. Only the president and a very small number of people know the secrets of the Century GRMN.
