The Voge 2023 have been another of the protagonists of the latest edition of EICMA. The premium branch within the Asian giant Loncin, presented no less than half a dozen novelties for the next season.
Surely the most striking of all is the DS900, a trail adventure prototype with a 96.5 CV twin-cylinder mechanic reminiscent of BMW and a chassis featuring long-travel suspensions and a 21-inch front wheel. Apparently it will equip quick shift as standard, Brembo brakes and could also come with a complete set of suitcases and top case.
Along with this prototype could be seen the DS525, another trail – in this case a medium weight – much more suitable for everyday use and ready to reach dealers.
With a dry weight of 190 kg and a wheelbase of 1,456 mm, it has an adjustable seat between 810 and 830 mm, led lights, fog lights, a 7” LCD color screen, as well as a 12-volt socket and another USB 2.
At the cycle level, it uses a tubular steel frame and an aluminum swingarm, the Kayaba inverted fork has 145 mm of travel, while the progressive monoshock offers 155 mm of travel. Braking is a Nissin thing, double front disc and one rear, with disconnectable ABS on the rear wheel and traction control. The wheels combine a 19″ front tire and a 17″ rear. In Milan it appeared equipped with a set of 3 aluminum suitcases.
Its engine is a 494 cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, inline twin, with a power that will be around 48 CV.
Double offer for the naked segment
Sharing a power plant with this DS525, the new 525AC could also be seen, a naked with a style halfway between a scrambler and a neoretro. From the first it has a combination of 19” spoked wheels at the front and 17” at the rear, double front disc brakes, raised exhaust, wide handlebars and a short tail since the license plate holder has been installed on the swingarm.
Continuing with this trend, the R 125 Brivido is a lightweight naked (128 kg dry), with a more modern line, with an incisive front mask equipped with LED lights. Its tank has a capacity of 10 liters and its two-piece seat is located at 795 mm. ground.
It moves thanks to a single-cylinder water-cooled cylinder head with a double tree that provides a power of just over 14 CV. The frame is made of steel tubes with aluminum swingarm, 275 mm front disc, dual channel ABS, inverted fork… and the equipment includes a color LCD, USB socket… all in line with the latest trends.
And two more for the more citizens…
Regarding the scooter segment, there were two Voge proposals for the next season, the SR 125 and the Real 5T.
The first is a well-equipped lightweight scooter. With a 124.9 cc single-cylinder engine, liquid-cooled and equipped with a start&stop system that has traction control. It uses a combination of 14” and 13” wheels, disc brakes and ABS, as well as having a seat that is only 775mm high with space under it to accommodate a full face helmet.
The instrumentation relies on a color LCD equipped with connectivity and as interesting details we can mention a smart key system and a video camera installed on its front.
As for the other scooter, the Real 5T, it is an electric model that offers a maximum speed of 115 km/h thanks to a maximum power of 11 kW and a range that in its ECO mode can reach 240 km.
This model benefits from the advantages of a two-channel ABS and an 8” TFT screen equipped with its own program that makes it possible to do without the telephone to navigate or listen to music online.
