Ferrari advances a change of decoration this weekend.
Ferrari turns yellow for the Italian Grand Prix. On the occasion of their home race, the Italian team has presented a special jersey that, surprisingly, wears this color and not the usual red. The reason is that, on the 75th anniversary of the Scuderia, Ferrari wants to pay tribute to the place of origin of its founder: Modena.
These are not good times for the Ferrari team. In addition to having practically disappeared from the world title fight and not having the pace to beat Red Bull, the Italian team is making mistakes at key moments such as pit stops – see what happened to Carlos Sainz in Zandvoort – that keep him away from fighting options for great results and victories.
Despite this, Ferrari will not miss the opportunity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the creation of the Scuderia and the launch of its first competition car, the Ferrari 125 S, at its home race. This year, in fact, the 75th anniversary logos and the name of the car, “F1-75”, refer to this celebration.
Although the special actions of Ferrari for this weekend have not yet been detailed, the Italian team has advanced that the yellow, in its “Giallo Modena” version, will be the protagonist.
And this is reflected in the team’s official shirt for the weekend, in reference to one of the colors of the flag of Modena – the city from which Enzo Ferrari originated – along with blue. Likewise, yellow is part of the Scuderia Ferrari shield, in reference to the city of Emilia Romagna.
Now that the special shirt, made by Puma (team sponsor) has been seen and has been put up for sale, it remains to be seen if Ferrari will defy fate and paint the cars of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz in yellow for the face. to the weekend of the Italian GP.
Although this is a color usually linked to misfortune, perhaps this time it will serve to turn around the delicate situation they are going through in sporting terms, because we must not forget that the Scuderia has gone from dreaming of the world title to seeing how the Mercedes team is dangerously close in the classification.
