God mode is one of the most appreciated features by Windows users. It has been active for a long time and has always managed to arouse the interest of all kinds of people. What you may not know is that, in Windows 11, there are a large number of methods to activate it. In the following lines, we explain them all to you one by one.
The day God mode disappears from Windows, we will probably miss it. And seeing the changes that Microsoft is implementing in its operating system in recent months, it would not be surprising if they ended up eliminating it in the future. This is the God way
Looking back a little, we remember that God mode made its original debut in Windows 7. Since then, it has been a lot. At the time, it was not something that Microsoft promoted openly. In 2007, guides and tutorials began to be published that referred to how it was possible to hack the Windows registry. There was a bit of a boom to the phenomenon, but it was by no means a type of hack. It was actually something that is inside Windows and is not blocked by Microsoft, so there is no problem accessing it.
After those first publications in 2007, at the end of 2009 we talked about it again and, now, the system was called God Mode. Clearly inspired by the world of video games, especially those on Windows PCs, God mode was a way to have complete access to all types of Windows functions from one place. You didn’t get “infinite lives”, but you did get functions and processes that were not normally at your disposal. At that time it was still the time of Windows 7, but God mode also ended up coming to Windows 10.
What access options are there in Windows 11?
As we indicated, God Mode continues to work in Windows 11. It is great news considering how versatile it is. By using it, what you are doing is reunifying all the control options of Windows 11, as well as the administration tools. You will have everything easily accessible and you will be able to find resources that you most likely would not have seen before.
To activate God mode you have to create a new folder on your computer with a very specific name. From there, you will have access to the mode in question to enjoy its possibilities. However, although God mode is normally activated in a very specific way, the truth is that there are different versions of this mode that you can use in a similar way. Discovering and trying them will put more possibilities in your hands and will make your way of using Windows 11 much more satisfactory.
However, first of all, take note of the name you have to use in the new folder if you want to activate the more traditional God mode with all its options. Of course, keep in mind that it is not about creating the folder haphazardly, but you have to create it on the desktop by right-clicking and then choosing Create Folder. Then you just have to change the name we just told you.
