In the motor world it has always been common to find generalist brands that have wanted to get closer to the premium ones to the point of proposing alternatives of a similar category, although at more affordable prices. It has not always been achieved, but there are certain cases in which a firm “hits the shot”. One of them is the Skoda Enyaq Coupe.
Born as a more dynamic style version of the conventional Skoda Enyaq, it is the plus of style that it gains, as well as certain distinctive details, which makes it possible to attract the attention of potential buyers who were considering the acquisition of a premium model.
The first aspect that is a point in favor is its design. The conventional Enyaq is already a good-looking SUV, but the Coupé is on another level. The change in the format of the roof, with a soft drop, significantly modifies its imprint and, despite being a large model, manages to be perceived as a rather sporty vehicle.
In this regard, it is an SUV that is 4,653 mm long, 1,879 mm wide and 1,622 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm.
There are multiple details that deepen the striking character of the Skoda, the main one being the grill called Crystal Face, which is made up of 131 LED lights and stands out especially at night; but also other elements such as its huge 20 or 21-inch wheels, the specific bumpers and, above all, the features of the RS variant.
The interior is another notable aspect, since despite its coupé silhouette it is quite spacious and has a boot with a capacity of 570 liters.
In addition, the Czech brand has put the rest in terms of finishes to be able to consider itself as an alternative to premium brand models. The most outstanding element is the large 13-inch central screen, accompanied by a digital instrument panel and a Head-Up Display with augmented reality.
Electric motors for all kinds of tastes
The range of the Czech SUV is made up of three versions, one of access with rear-wheel drive and two superior with all-wheel drive.
The base is the Skoda Enyaq Coupé 80, with 204 CV (150 kW) and a 77 kWh capacity battery, which approves a range of 552 kilometers. The intermediate is the Skoda Enyaq Coupé 80x, which raises power to 265 hp (195 kW) but, equipped with the same battery, reduces its range of action to 528 kilometers.
The top of the range is the Skoda Enyaq Coupé RS, which develops 300 hp (220 kW), shares a battery with the other two versions and has a range of 523 kilometers.
The three versions support direct current charging of up to 135 kW of power, with which they fill from 10 to 80% of their capacity in just 29 minutes.
The prices of the Skoda Enyaq Coupe are as follows: from 50,000 euros for the 80, from 50,500 euros for the 80x and from 55,800 euros for the RS.
