It seems that time has not passed in this unit of the Ferrari Enzo, one of the nine built with the Argento Nürburgring 101/C color.
In 2022, Ferrari launched this model on the market in honor of the founder of the brand, Enzo Ferrari. It was the continuation of Ferrari’s high-end vehicle saga, started in 1984 with the 288 GTO and followed by the F40 and F50. Now this brand new Ferrari Enzo is going up for auction, with only 227 kilometers, and with a unique configuration.
It seems that time has not passed in this unit of the Ferrari Enzo, leaving the Maranello factory in 2003. It is something common among buyers of luxury cars like this to keep them in perfect condition to sell them in the future at a higher price, pure speculation.
What is not so normal is to find a Ferrari like this 20 years later, in practically immaculate condition. An authentic jewel that is auctioned this weekend at RM Sotheby’s, although the company does not offer an estimate of the price it can reach. The auction ends tomorrow.
They auction a brand new Ferrari Enzo, with 227 kilometers
This Ferrari Enzo was originally sold in Ontario, Canada, and then shipped to Japan where, for unknown reasons, it was stored without even being registered. For this reason, the car still retains many of the protective plastics with which it was delivered, a state in which it is surely the only Enzo in the world.
As you can see in the images, the plastic is present on the door sills, behind the seats and even in the engine compartment; but it is that even the key or the set of bags that accompanied the vehicle are in their original packaging.
Logically, it has never been driven on the open road, so it registers a minimum mileage that corresponds exclusively to the trial tests carried out by the Italian brand: 227 kilometers.
A unique configuration
But this Ferrari Enzo up for auction is not only special because of its impeccable condition, but also because it presents a unique one: it is one of the nine units that sport the Argento Nürburgring 101/C paint on its body and the only one that combines it with the upholstery in Cuio leather.
The icing on the cake is its 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that develops 660 hp, combined with an automated manual gearbox and a rear-wheel drive system.
