To do this, you just have to use Kodi and use one of the different IPTV lists that exist to watch the Digital Terrestrial Television channels without having to spend a single euro.
The blackout of DTT in SD is just around the corner and there are still many users who are still hesitating between buying a new television or an external receiver to watch DTT in HD. However, there is a third alternative: use Kodi as an app to watch free IPTV lists with the usual television channels. As? Very easy, we explain it to you.
A DTT IPTV list on Kodi

And once you are clear about which list you are going to use to watch DTT, you have to open Kodi to configure it so that you do not have problems with the SD channels turning off.
Please note that you only need one device with the Kodi program installed. It is available for mobile phones, PCs or even televisions with Android TV. So there is no problem. Once you have it, it is time to see how to put the list of DTT IPTV channels.
- Run the application and tap on the settings, which is shaped like a gear wheel, it appears right at the top.
- Within the configuration menu, you must click on the Add-ons section.
- Once here, you have to choose the Install from repository option. Don’t worry if a long list with add-ons appears.
- Search and select PVR Clients.
- Here you have to search and install the IPTV Simple Client option. You just have to enter and tap on the button that says Install. In addition, you will probably have to install three other additional plugins in order to use this particular add-on.
- Once everything is installed, you have to go to the tab of this add-on and tap on Configure.
- Within Configure the plugin settings will be displayed.
- Tap Add Add-on Settings.
- In the Location tab you have to enter the route of the IPTV list that you have chosen: either the online address or if you have it saved as a file on your device.
- If you choose the remote location, below you will have the option to paste the URL of the M3U list.
- When you have it, click on the Ok button.
Now it’s time to go to the main menu and close the application. Then you will have to open the program again and if everything has gone well, a message will appear in the upper right corner notifying you that the IPTV list with the DTT channels is loading. When it is complete, you can go to the TV section from the main menu (which appears on the left side of the application) and watch the television channels.
