Last June, the streaming platform Pluto TV launched a new goal for this summer with the inclusion of 5 new channels to give more freshness to its programming and renew content. The main objective is none other than to attract a greater number of users and, without a doubt, with this batch of channels, it will achieve this. If you want to beat these hot months and entertain yourself on vacation, stay to find out about the new additions.
Pluto TV users are in luck. The FAST channel company has once again surprised us with the addition of juicy programming that we are sure many people will love and watch during their free time. We are talking about legendary series from the 80s and 90s, as well as the arrival of two urban music channels and summer blockbusters to spend hours of entertainment.
However, some of these channels will remain in place permanently and others will be established temporarily. They will also be launched in stages during the months of July and August.
The series channels that are coming to Pluto TV
We are already used to Pluto TV rescuing such popular series that this summer we could not miss other emblematic ones like the ones we describe below.
On the one hand, we already have the premiere of Baywatch from July 1st as the main novelty. Here we will be part of the personal and professional adventures of the most famous lifeguard teams in the world of television. We will see very recognizable faces of renowned actors, such as David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Jason Mamoa or Billy Warlock, among others.
Fans of the Star Trek universe will also soon be able to enjoy the adventures of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine installment. This third and exciting series of the science fiction franchise will see a spin-off that focuses on the adventures of Starfleet, a space base that will bring conflicts between various civilizations. The first three seasons will be available for free on a dedicated channel starting July 12.
Immediately after, Cobra Alert is the latest addition to the channel’s catalogue of series. On July 19, fans of this German police production set in Europe in the 2000s will be able to take part in a long series of seasons (from 3 to 11) to see the inspectors who ensure road safety on screen again. This is a production that is currently being broadcast, with up to 50 seasons.
Music channels to liven up the summer
Finally, Pluto TV has not wanted to leave out the best live music videos of the songs that resonate the most during the summer month with the pop-up channel MTV Summer Hits, which has been broadcast since July 5.
Urban music will also be included in this new offering of free channels, so MTV Reggaeton will raise the bar in terms of song quality on August 2, with authentic hits from yesteryear and other more recent ones.
